Dear Car Guys, a k a Click & Clack, a k a "Youz Guys":

It was with great amusement last Sunday that I heard of the bird-doo/car color problem that one of your listeners had. I can tell you with considerable experience that birds can and do control the size and location of their waste!!!

I have two African grey parrots and they display an uncanny ability to control the location, direction, size, and timing of their bodily function...much to my dismay and frustration. They seem to wait until I let them out to do their business, not in the cage where it is contained and absorbed by the pan lining.

Although the greys are considered the most intelligent of birds, they definitely demonstrate an incredible degree of stupidity, at least from my perspective, in not doing as asked, but as they want. Perhaps I am the dumb one--after all, I still clean up after them and continue to allow them out of their cages regularly to stretch (and poop) when I am home.

I hope that this information is of great value to you and your distressed listeners. Maybe the solution is to park only where there is a clear view into the sky without trees, etc. in the way. I'm sure the loggers will appreciate this idea!!

Cordially,

Berneard Elman II Portland, OR

P.S. I love the show. Keep up the good work on hounding the car makers. They deserve all you dish out.
