Hi Click and Clack,
As a Stay-at-Home-Mom, one of the things I love best
about the weekends is the opportunity to listen to quality
programming on NPR all day. Unfortunatel,y twice a
weekend your show interrupts my weekend bliss.
Yesterday, I was feeding my daughter in her highchair
when your show came on. Although she is only 16 months
old, she had the wherewithal to point urgently to her ear
muffs ("dead cans" to those of you in the biz), which were
on the kitchen table then gesture for me to put them on
her head. Her dad is an audio engineer and bought the
attenuating ear muffs to protect her.
I feel a level of satisfaction knowing I've raised her to not
only have discriminating taste in programming, but also
knowing that she has the survival skills necessary to
"Make the bad men stop," as it were.
Thanks for making my day.
