I'm Asking You Now!

RAY: This was sent in by Brendan Pimper and I monkeyed around with it a little. Here it is: 'I walked into a co-worker's office the other day and just as I entered she turned to me and said, 'I'll be with you in a minute. I'm just calling my husband. It's his turn to do the grocery shopping and I'm just calling to remind him.'

'Within a few seconds he must have answered the phone because I heard her say, 'Hi Tim, it's me.' Then she asked him a perfectly normal question which I'm sure he answered perfectly normally. But if she'd asked that same question twenty years ago he might have thought she was crazy. Now many of us have probably been asked that same question and have answered that same question within the past few days perhaps.'
