Roman Numerals Dear Click and Clack: I notice Tommy has been playing with various ways to state your phone number on the air. Perhaps you have already thought of this one??? Roman numerals. I can find only the Roman numerals up through 1,000 [M], so I had to segment your number the way the phone companies do rather than write one eleven-digit number...and I still don't like what I wrote for the last four digits [8255]. Anyhow, this is what I came up with: I-DCCCLXXXVIII-CCXXVII-MMMMMMMMXXLV Or, you could segment them into a series of one-digit numbers: I-VIII-VIII-VIII-II-II-VII-VIII-II-V-V Whaddaya think? Maybe you guys can find other Roman numerals for numbers higher than 'M'. I love the show. Keep up the good work, you two "zeroes."
