Reviewers Comments:

Jack kept my last car "alive" for 15 years. Honest, professional, knowledgable service.

Jack is the Auto Repair Manager - I've been going to him for 8 years. My son was going off to college last year - 100 miles from home and was going to be bringing his car - 92 sable, low mileage vehicle, with him, but I wanted to make sure it was safe - Jack and one of his mechanics (Jimmy - who is excellent), went through vehicle from front to back, top to bottom making sure they had checked everything - when I got the car back, i had great confidence that they had done due diligence to make sure my son was driving in a safe vehicle - He had the car 1 day longer than he said he would but knowing my situation, and that it was for my son, he told me that he didn't want to give it back to me before he had gone through everything and felt confident that as a father he would feel safe if it was his child's car.

I've dealt mainly with Jack who, while sometimes curmudgeonly, knows his business very well. At the time I was driving a '91 Toyota Camry that was pushing 200k miles. Most every time I called and described the problem the car was having he was able to identify it without yet seeing the car. His response to one problem that surfaced related to the valves was something to this effect: "I could tell you to fix it for $500, but I'd rather tell you to just keep the oil topped off." Good advice for a car that was barely worth $500. They seem to love Toyotas and Hondas, but if you're a VW or a Saab fan be prepared to get an honest opinion from Jack.

They did keep my 1998 RAV4 for 31 days in order to fix it, which sounds like a lot until you think about the fact that over $4000 of work was needed. They had to replace the passenger door, the front passenger quarterpanel, the hood, the passenger windshield strut, the windshield, and the entire dashboard. And then paint and wax it :) To be honest, they eliminated a few squeaks and rattles that had been forming before i was hit. I give them two solid thumbs up.

I have gone to this shop twice I think. Maybe more. Anyhow this place is great and is near where I live. Also they have sofas and a La-Z-Boy chair you can sit in while you wait. This is much better than sitting in a hard chair for hours on end, as I have done in other repair shops before. They will call Enterprise car rental for you and call again if they don't show up when they say they will. I had some bumper work done after being hit from behind and it did seem to take a while, but I did not mind since the insurance company for the person who hit me was paying for the rental. At the same time they fixed a seat belt problem for me. More recently my check engine light came on in my 13 year old Toyota Corolla. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and got the part the same day. The price to fix it was reasonable with the majority of the cost being labor. An added benefit is Fantasia has an agreement with Enterprise car rental that you can leave your rental car at Fantasia when you pick up your repaired car. You give your keys to the person behind the counter at Fantasia. Overall this is a great repair shop since they actually explain to you what is wrong your car. When they quote you a price they actually stick to it.
