Reviewers Comments:

Frank Broderick has his radio on NPR while he works on cars. That may not be unique, but, in 30 years of going to see mechanics, it's certainly a first for me. Because he is in business for himself and sometimes is the only mechanic on duty, one should not expect extended hours or super-quick turnaround, but Frank is honest about what he can do and how quickly he can do it. If he does not think he is able to do a particular job or do it well, he does not hesitate to refer a customer someplace else. On top of all this, Frank is from Jamaica and speaks which such a wonderful accent that it sometimes softens the fact that he has to give you bad news, like the fact that the hunk of junk you are driving is near death.

It's great the last time I needed engine job done it was ready in 2 days. Keep it up Frank, and I love the secretary she is friendly and never seems to lose her temper.

Frank's garage was bought out from under him on short notice and he is in the process of relocating to Tucker. By November 1999 he should be back in business on the dead end of Crescent Center Blvd., off of Lawrenceville Hwy. just beyond I-285 (just before the cemetery on the north side of the road).

I was wary of taking my car to a mechanic that I didn't know, but Fred was wonderful. He was very nice and honest and did not overcharge me. His secretary was very friendly and even gave me a ride home! I recommend Broderick's to everyone.

Broderick is an incredible mechanic. Unless you are under warranty (and even then depending on your dealer) Broderick will save you time and money. We spent about $700 and 2 months trying to get an electrical problem fixxed on our '91 Nissan, and he fixxed it in 3 hours for pocket change. Broderick was the last stop before we cut our losses and sold the car. Within 3 hours Broderick called us to let us know he'd found the problem (the trunk light wasn't turning off), and had fixxed it. He said we could pick it up right away, but he knew we'd been told it'd been fixxed before, so was thoughtful enough to offer to hold it overnight and see if there were any more problems. The next day when we went to pick it up (expecting labor and part costs on par with what we'd dealt with elsewhere) he told us the total which was less than $50. He also told us everything we needed to know to get most of our money back from the 2 dealers and the other mechanic who'd "worked" on the car.

Frank is a great guy. He solved a creak that my car had for free, without my even having to ask. He'll also take time to tell you what your "Check Engine" codes mean. And he's honest about when something doesn't really need to be fixed.

Frank is great. Fixed my emissions system on my 99 honda. Everything everybody says is true about how honest he is and takes the time to tell you what is going on with your car. When something unrelated went wrong right after he repaired the honda he fixed it at no charge.

Outstanding Service!!! Knowledgeable and honest automotive technician. Dealership type service, yet for much less. Thank you and keep up good work.

"I don't go to Broderick because he is convenient; I go because I know him, he knows my car, and I trust him." This was the response I gave to a friend who inquired as to why I would travel from Mableton to Tucker for service. I have always driven Nissans and this is the second Nissan I have kept long enough to need expert service. Frank is not just a business owner; he is a car lover and prides himself in results the first time. When you bring the car in and explain the problem, he explains what is happening and says, "pull it in and let's solve it." He is very competent as is evident by his certifications and has the pride that a Jamaican celebrates. Over the years, I have tried others for expedience, in the end, I come back to Broderick Foreign Car Service.
