Reviewers Comments:

Tommy has always been honest and fair. If he doesn't know what's wrong with your car, he admits it, but usually he can figure it out.

I have always been happy with Tommy and Lukes vast knowledge of cars, the reasonable prices and the great service.

This shop offers specials for their customers at a reduced rate. For instance standard oil, filter, rotation, check all systems etc. for $24.00. They always give a diagnostics of any problems and ask permission before doing work.

When I moved here in 1977 I was a customer at Tommy's parent's service station. They retired in the early 1990's and Tommy opened his business just after they retired. I bought a new vehicle in 1991 and got in the habit of taking it to the dealer for service and repairs. But last week I just got really overpriced work done at the local Dodge place and exorbitant estimates for further repairs. I called Tommy. He gave an accurate diagnosis, completed the work in a timely manner, and the cost was less than 1/3 of what the Dealer had estimated. I'll resume my patronage of the Hopewell's business in the future. Really honest, dependable, and competent.

Luke at Hopewell Tire and Automotive has always been a straight shooter. They do solid work, their estimates are consistently lower than others in town, and their final cost is usually less than the estimate!

The guys at Hopewell are extremely reliable and honest. Being female, I really appreciated the way they treated me--as an important and competent customer. Whenever Brian called me to tell me what the status of my car was, instead of feeling like I was speaking to someone who was simply after money, I felt as though a good friend of mine was helping me with my car problem. I've been to Hopewell twice now, once for major engine repairs and once to have the fuel pump replaced. They always present their diagnosis in a precise and understandable way and their pricing is always more than reasonable. I trust them completely, and I know that is a rarity when it comes to auto repair. I've recommended them to all of my friends and family.

My daughter is a student at UGA and her car developed a problem. An old beater high mileage Dodge Stratus, but it has been a good car for her student years. I went on CarTalk.com to find someone to send her to, since I'm in another city and can't do it myself (which I usually do and she has gotten used to). Luke took my call, listened to my second hand explanations of what my duaghter had described, and got it fixed. Reasonable price, clear explanations, quick service. And my daughter reports "they were really nice" when she picked it up. For a long distance relationship, I have to give these guys a lot of credit. I'll use them again when the time comes (and with a 135K mile Dodge you know it's gonna come).
